# Can Flexprice Handle Supabase's Pricing?

> Recreate Supabase's pricing in Flexprice with Prompt to Plan: a base fee per plan, usage meters with free allowances and overage rates, and plan-gated features

Episode 4 of *Can Flexprice Handle It?* recreates Supabase's pricing with Prompt to Plan, the dashboard's chat-based pricing setup. Supabase charges a base fee, a charge for the size of the compute instance a project runs on, and usage across database storage, egress, file storage, monthly active users, edge function invocations and more. Each usage dimension has its own free allowance and overage rate.

## Building Supabase's pricing with Prompt to Plan

Instead of the MCP server used in earlier episodes, this episode describes Supabase's pricing in one prompt and lets Prompt to Plan build the configuration.

  <Step title="Open Prompt to Plan">
    In the Flexprice dashboard, go to **Plans** and click **Create with AI**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe the pricing">
    On the **Set up your pricing** screen, paste the prompt below and submit it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and confirm">
    Flexprice shows a preview of the features, plans and credit grants it will create. Nothing is saved until you confirm. After you confirm, Flexprice builds the configuration and opens your plans.
  </Step>
</Steps>
